A Church United in Gathering the Harvest, Growing Disciples, and Going into All the World.

It is our desire to see all those connected to The Place embrace and embody the value system of the Kingdom of God:

A.  A Community United in Worship and Prayer – It is a core value of The Place to be a community at prayer and worship together in unity.  In order to have answered prayer and corporate worship we must be in one accord.  We strive to keep unity by creating a culture of prayer, honor, and submitting to spiritual authority.  God calls or names His people the “house of prayer.” The Spirit is establishing a culture of prayer in the Church worldwide (Isa. 56:7).  We rely on private and corporate prayer in the conception, planning, and execution of all the ministries and activities of the church (Matthew 7:7-11). It is the first priority of all of the activity of The Place.

B.  Personal Devotion to Jesus – It is a core value of The Place to remain in that grace of "First Love First Works" to Jesus.  Cultivating intimacy with Jesus through a life of intercession, contemplation, and meditation that we might come to a right knowledge of the Father Heart of God and Jesus the Bridegroom, King, Shepherd and Judge. Living alive and in love with God and experientially living with the first commandment in first place, with hearts that are without offense and abandoned in love towards God.  We emphasize intimacy with God by engaging in the means of grace. We desire to acknowledge God’s supreme value and worth in our personal lives, corporate worship (Romans 12:1-2) and discipleship.

C.  Missionary Spirit - We value lost people as the reward of Christ’s suffering and will use every available Christ-honoring means to disciple them.  We desire to demonstrate God’s love and power to others by winning the lost, healing the sick, doing works of justice (adoption, compassion to the poor, caring for the fatherless, and oppressed), making disciples, building godly families, serving in the marketplace and working to impact our communities for Christ (Luke 19:10; Mt. 28:19-20; Mark 16).

D.  Covenant Community as a Glorious Spiritual Family - We believe Jesus is building His Church which functions locally as a spiritual family walking in love and honoring all of its members, participating in the community, exercising spiritual gifts, being shepherded, growing in Christ-likeness (Mt. 16:18; Acts 2:44-46). The Spirit is raising up a victorious Church that has made herself ready for her Bridegroom.  We seek to walk in the values, doctrine, power, purity, unity, and maturity as modeled by the New Testament Church (Eph. 4:13; 5:27; Rev. 19:7)(Eph. 5:27)

E.  Apostolic Living – living lifestyles of New Testament authenticity, emphasizing core doctrine, training and equipping people, building houses of prayer, releasing manifestations of the Holy Spirit and breakthrough in regions to establish the Kingdom of God in the earth.

F.  Urgency for the Hour – Prophetic proclamation geared to prepare the hearts of men for impending temporal judgments, massive end-time revival, the martyrdom of the saints and the soon return of Jesus to the earth.

G.  Fasted Lifestyle – It is a core value of The Place that we are set apart to God.  Character and conduct that embodies meekness and sacrifice; a lifestyle of sincerity that embraces the Sermon on the Mount as the standard for New Testament Christian living. Voluntary lovers embracing voluntary weakness in this life by resisting the spirit of the age and embracing love, serving, giving, forgiveness, prayer, fasting, and faith (Isa 58, Mat 5-7).

H.  Team Leadership – Team ministry rooted in the concept that every joint in the body has a supply.  We function most powerfully when each part supplies its portion. (Acts 14:23, 1 Cor. 12).  We seek to equip all of the saints connected to The Place to effectively accomplish the work of the ministry and to fulfill their own ministry calling (Eph. 4:11-13).

I.  Christian Excellence - Since God gave His best in His Son, we seek to honor Him by giving our “biblical best” through our stewardship of time, money, resources and by maintaining a high standard of excellence in all of the ministries and activities of The Place (Colossians 3:23, 24)

J.  Christ-Centered Justice - Justice is about God making wrong things right. The two sides of justice are salvation and judgment: Examples of God’s justice that make wrong things right include: 1. Soul winning: God’s judgment on the kingdom of darkness is seen when people get saved. 2. Righteous legislation: God’s judgment on unrighteous legislation (abortion laws, etc.). 3. Healing: God’s judgment on sickness is seen in the manifestation of healing power. 4. Holiness:God’s judgment on sin, anger, pornography, drugs, and rebellion, etc.

K.  God-Centered Spiritual Warfare – Contending for the revelation of God to be made manifest in the church and in the world unto the dismantling of strongholds erected against the knowledge of God (2 Cor 10:4-5).  The right knowledge of God and living by the value system of the Kingdom are the centerpieces of spiritual warfare.
